Refurbished city café re-opens with revamped menu and extra space

A Bradford bubble tea and coffee café has more than doubled in size following a refurbishment.
Mowchi Bradford, at 57 Great Horton Road, has officially re-opened with 30 covers and a new menu. The café first launched in 2022.
It offers a street-food-inspired twist to café dining, with Bao Buns, Korean sweet sandos, rice bowls, and grab-and-go breakfast options – with both savoury and sweet options available.
Customers can also still enjoy Mowchi’s signature Matcha, Bubble Teas, and freshly brewed coffees.
Syeda Kayanath, Mowchi’s founder, said: “We wanted to create a space where everyone feels welcome – whether you’re a student studying between lectures, grabbing a bite with your besties, or on a coffee run before work.
“Mowchi Bradford is all about bold flavours and feel-good moments.”
The brand, which is part of City Restaurants Group, currently has five cafés across the UK, with a further four openings planned in 2025.
