Mr Anderson said: “As markets continually change, it is imperative for any organisation to be at the forefront of their industry.

“That is where Pegler Yorkshire excels, great British engineering at its best, its products are renowned, and it is with these many years of experience where we can build on to ensure we continue to provide the industry with innovative products and cost effective solutions.

“I am very proud to be representing these iconic brands that have such an incredible heritage. With the turbulent times of late it is companies like Pegler Yorkshire along with our customers that will help the country reduce its debt, retain our credit rating, and pull it back to where it belongs. We do however, need faith in our own capabilities and confidence to modernise and progress.

“I look forward to taking on this new role and working with the UK management team to develop strategic direction for the Pegler Yorkshire Group.”
