New service launched by Yorkshire law firm

LAW firm Gordons has launched a contentious wills and probate service to cater for the growing demand within the field.
The Leeds and Bradford firm has appointed Martin Holdsworth, formerly equity partner at Leeds firm Godloves Solicitors, to head up the new operation.
In his new role Holdsworth will work within the firm's commercial litigation team providing an additional service to the firm's family and personal law departments.
Gordons' managing partner Paul Ayre said: “We have identified contentious wills and probate as a rapidly expanding area of legal work, and in Martin we have secured a very talented individual with wide-ranging experience in this specialist practice area. We have already begun to develop further business opportunities because of this new offer.”
Established in Bradford in 1844, Gordons opened its Leeds office in 2000.
The firm's clients include Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc, personal care and footwear & accessories company Peter Black Group, international brewers Coors and the world's largest electrical heating business Glen Dimplex.
