Filtronic lands further US satellite contract as profits edge ahead of expectations
Filtronic has secured a second contract with a US satellite communications customer as the RF technology specialist reported annual earnings slightly ahead of market expectations.
The AIM-listed business said the latest award, worth around £400,000, will see it design a high-frequency module for satellite payload applications as part of an initial development programme.
The contract follows an £6m agreement announced in March with the same customer and is expected to generate revenue during the current financial year.
