Tracsis strikes £48m deal to accelerate software focus

Leeds transport technology group Tracsis has agreed a £48m deal to buy rail software specialist Mistral Data from FirstGroup in a move that significantly strengthens its recurring software revenues and deepens its presence in the UK's rail sector.

The AIM-listed business said the acquisition marks 'a highly strategic moment' as it accelerates its transition from a transport services provider towards a scalable, higher-margin software business.
