Genuit profits fall amid tough trading
Genuit has reported a fall in underlying profits after a challenging first half, but is banking on price rises, cost-cutting and a strengthening infrastructure pipeline to drive growth from next year.
The sustainable building products group saw revenue rise 3.4% to £307.8m in the six months to 30 June 2026.
But underlying operating profit slipped 1.6% to £43.9m, while underlying profit before tax fell 5.2% to £36.8m as weaker volumes and inflationa...
