Dawsons Corner upgrade enters final phase ahead of 2027 completion

The £44m transformation of one of West Yorkshire's busiest road junctions has moved into its final construction phase, with resurfacing works now underway ahead of the scheme's completion early next year.

Leeds City Council said final surfacing is progressing at the Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass improvement scheme, marking another milestone in a project designed to improve traffic flow, public transport and active travel links between Leeds and Bradford.
