North England farmland values outperform wider market trends as supply eases
New research shows that farmland values in the North of England have continued to demonstrate resilience during the first half of 2026, despite fewer acres coming to the market and ongoing challenges facing the farming sector.
According to the latest analysis from Savills, the volume of publicly marketed farmland across the North of England fell by 5.2% during the first six months of 2026, with 13,528 acres brought to the open market compared with 14,266 acres during the same period in 2025.
