Delayed £46.1m Leeds Station gateway set to begin opening next month
The Leeds Station Sustainable Travel Gateway is expected to begin opening in October.
The £46.1m scheme is transforming the main entrance to Leeds City Station. It aims to create a safer, more accessible and more inviting space and help the station accommodate increasing demand for rail travel in the city.
Work on the revamp started in 2022 and was originally due to be completed in autumn 2025, before being pushed back to "summer 2026".
