Executive search business anticipates long-term success following MBO

Mackenzie Stuart Group, a Leeds-headquartered executive search firm with over 250 employees across eight global offices, has completed a management buyout for an undisclosed sum.

This transition sees the appointment of Will Peeke-Vout and Nichola Howarth as group managing directors and they assume full ownership of the business.

Previous shareholders Dominic Paglia and Nick Jenkins step into the roles of non-executive directors to oversee wider governance and support the management team with their knowledge and experience.

Paglia said: “After running Mackenzie Stuart for over 15 years and completing a previous MBO, I am proud to have achieved this milestone and excited for the next chapter for the business.”

Jenkins said: “We are delighted to see the business pass into the hands of an established and successful leadership team in Will and Nichola, and we look forward to supporting them as they take on this responsibility and deliver their strategic growth plans for the business.”

Peeke-Vout said: “We are deeply grateful to Dominic and Nick for this opportunity and our goal is to build on the incredibly strong foundations that we have inherited.

“We are excited to implement our ambitious growth plans for the business and continue to invest in our talented and high-performing group businesses.”

Howarth added: “After many successful years at Mackenzie Stuart, I am proud to have achieved this pivotal moment for the business and look forward to delivering long-term growth and success.

“Our people are our greatest asset, they have helped us achieve every success and we look forward to supporting our fantastic team and wider group businesses to achieve their own ambitions and potential.”
