Purchase adds more than 400 beds to student accommodation brand’s portfolio
MCR Property Group has acquired Snow Island, a 427-bed purpose built student accommodation scheme opposite the University of Huddersfield.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, takes the group's Flow Student brand beyond 9,000 beds nationally.
The acquisition completed on 30 October 2026 and marks Flow Student’s entry into Huddersfield. Snow Island is on King’s Mill Lane, around a three minute walk from the University of Huddersfield’s Queensgate campus. It comprises 89 cluster flats and 427 ensuite bedrooms.
