NCI drives forward with high profile appointment

HARROGATE-based motor insurance, vehicle recovery and roadside assistance firm NCI Vehicle Rescue has appointed one of the region’s foremost businessmen as chairman.

Richard Jackson MBE has held some of the most coveted positions in the region including director of the Leeds Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 18 years.

He joins NCI – a PLUS market-listed company that incorporates the brand names rescuemycar.com, rescuemybike.com and insurance4my.com – as it aims to increase its national customer base from 135,000 to one million.

Managing director Neil Richards-Smith said: “We are keen to expand and Richard is the ideal man to help us take the business forward. His achievements are too numerous to list, but his industry expertise, with over thirty years’ experience in the local trade with Nidd Vale motor group and Mercedes Benz North Yorkshire, will be invaluable.
