Hunter leaves Fuse 8

FUSE 8 chief executive Nigel Hunter has left the business weeks after he was relieved of his duties.

The company said chairman Mark Walton would be taking on the chief executive’s duties at the Leeds-based digital agency.

Fuse 8’s recently published annual report put Mr Hunter’s shareholding in the business at 13.5%.

Last month Mr Hunter offered his resignation after he failed to provide the board with an update on the company’s performance and forecasts it had requested.

His resignation was rejected but he was relieved of his duties when an investigation suggested Fuse 8 had not met expectations for the first half of the year.

The board is now considering a series of options for the future of the company including sale or delisting from AIM.
