Saudi contract for Hiley

HILEY has won a contract to supply Kraft Foods’s operation in Saudi Arabia.

The deal is the company’s first foray into the Middle East and will see it design supply a bespoke conveyor belt system for the international food giant.

Managing director Mark Hiley said: “The project is proving to be an exciting and demanding piece of work – however, the level of experience within the company has ensured that everything is running to agreed timescales and budgets, even though elements of the job have required answers that demanded innovative and inspired design work.”

The Saudi Arabia contract follows success for the company in Russia and its history of exporting to the North and South American markets.

The conveyor system contract is worth more than £300,000 with the machinery en route to Saudi Arabia where Halifax-based Hiley will oversee its installation.
