CPS continues to prosper with more contract wins

CLYDE Process Solutions, the Yorkshire global pneumatic conveying and air filtration systems provider, has continued its run of contract wins after today announcing a further two pieces of work valued at £1.1m.
The Doncaster-based group’s European operations have won the contracts from companies operating in the recycling and minerals markets.
Firstly, an unnamed waste recycling provider has handed CPS a £800,000 contract which will see the group supply products and technologies including storage silos, pneumatic conveying systems, bag dischargers and dosing injection systems.
The project, located in the UK, will be commissioned by CPS in two phases and is scheduled for completion in March 2011.
The second order has been secured from an Egyptian-based minerals company for £300,000. CPS will supply the customer with a pneumatic conveying product that will transport calcium carbonate within the customer’s facility replacing existing, problematic mechanical bucket elevator systems.
The energy efficient, low maintenance and dust-free benefits provided by CPS’s pneumatic conveying tchnology were key to securing the order, which is scheduled to be commissioned in September, the company said.
Alex Stewart, chief executive of CPS, said: “These two orders build on the positive start made by the group in this new financial year.
“It is pleasing for our European operation to secure this strong level of order intake from two new customers.
“We believe these contract wins are a further testament to the growing recognition by our customers of the substantial environmental and economic benefits our technologies can generate.
“Both of these contracts have been secured at healthy levels of contribution and are in line with management expectations. We continue to add volume to our sales pipeline and all of our global subsidiaries are working closely with numerous customers to secure additional, profitable orders.”
