Propaganda wins digital contract with Greggs

BAKERY chain Greggs has appointed a Leeds-based firm to take charge of its digital marketing strategy.

Leeds-based agency Propaganda will work on digital applications including the website, micro site, e-vouchers, online banners, games and promotions.

The appointment follows a television campaign for Greggs last year featuring comedian Paddy McGuinness.

Greggs recently announced that their profits rose in 2007 and despite increases in raw material prices.

Greggs marketing director, Scott Jefferson, said: “We have worked successfully with Propaganda on the 'ready when you are' campaign for more than a year – it now makes sense to formally integrate our digital offering with the campaign through Propaganda.”

Propaganda interactive director, Darren Navier, said: “We are delighted to be formally working with the Greggs team, helping them further expand the successful 'Ready when you are' campaign into new digital channels.”

Founded in 1993, the Propaganda Group employs 65 people and has a turnover of £12.5m.
