Yorkshire firm creates website for top designer

LEEDS-based digital agency Chapter Eight has re-designed the website for fashion designer Paul Costelloe.
Chapter Eight re-designed the Paul Costelloe Man website with a remit to update the style and improve overall user experience.
Now incorporating the new Paul Costelloe logo the online shop website is themed in cream and gold to reflect the luxury of the brand.
Each product category now has a filter menu, enabling visitors to narrow down their search by size, colour and price.
Product images feature a drop shadow, emulating the scrap book style featured throughout the site and the homepage features a banner displaying special offers.
User friendly content such as a scrapbook section includes catwalk videos, style tips and sketches, giving an insight into the design process.
Visitors can take part in regular competitions to win luxury prizes and are encouraged to engage with the brand through social media channels Twitter and Facebook.
Kate Berwin, marketing director for Paul Costelloe, said: “The redesign by Chapter Eight has freshened up the look of our website and introduced some exciting new content.
“Our website is now one of the largest concessions for the company and since Chapter Eight began handling all our ebusiness operations in March, we’ve seen an uplift in sales of over 100%. We’re confident this will continue through the seasons.”
Mario Thomas, managing director of Chapter Eight, said: “We are delighted to have exceeded the client’s expectations with this project.”
Dublin-born Paul Costelloe has been head of a successful fashion label for more than 25 years.
In 2009 he launched Paul Costelloe Man, a bridge between formal and casual wear for fashion conscious men.
