Walker Morris secures local authority consortium legal work
LAW firm Walker Morris is one of a number of law firms to be appointed to the Legal Services Framework Panel for the Consortium of London Boroughs.
Current consortium members include Councils of the London Boroughs of Barnet, Bexley, Bromley, Havering, Hillingdon, Merton, Redbridge and Sutton and most recently City of London and Thanet District Council.
Further applications to join the consortium are still pending.
Andrew Uprichard, partner in the commercial public sector and projects team, said: “Our dedicated commercial public sector and projects team is one of the largest single-site teams outside London and we work for more than 70 local authorities nationally.
“While based regionally our work and reputation is national. These latest appointments further reinforce that reputation and demonstrate our commitment to deliver quality and value to clients in this sector.”
The three year framework covers a number of areas including property, contracts, housing, commercial, regulatory, litigation and environment.
