Manby secures four year deals

EXHIBITION and conference firm Joe Manby has secured a contract to support two events in Harrogate.

Joe Manby has been reappointed to provide all event services for the Harrogate Christmas and Gift Fair and the Harrogate Nursery Fair until March 2016.

Director Andrew Manby said: ““The Harrogate Christmas  and Gift Fair boasts a rich history dating back to when it started life as the Harrogate Toy Fair more than 60 years ago.

“Our family’s association with the fair pre-dates Joe Manby Limited. My father first became involved back in 1969 and HITF Limited is one of two original clients, when Joe set up as a specialist event services company in Harrogate five years later.

“We’re proud to have been involved for the last 37 shows and are now looking forward to building on this long association over the next five years.”

Both events will be hosted at the new £11m events halls at the Harrogate International Centre.

Robert Anslow, a director of the two shows, said: “Our involvement with Joe Manby as a company goes back many, many years and during that time the partnership between between ourselves and Joe Manby, which provides all our service requirements for both events, has been second to none. 

“As an exhibition organiser, the trust we have in them delivering to our standards and the strength in the Manby’s team to accommodate our growth in both shows in the last ten years has given us the confidence to award them a five-year contract.”
