New business director for Lloyds TSB Corporate

LLOYDS TSB Corporate Markets has appointed Joanne Williamson as business development director for North and West Yorkshire to support its commitment to businesses in the region.
Ms Williamson has more than 25 years’ banking experience, 14 of which have been spent working in the corporate banking arena, building relationships with corporates across Yorkshire and the North West.
She is credited with playing an integral role in the creation of Lloyds TSB’s corporate office in Leeds in 1996, as part of the relationship-focused team delivering support and financial solutions to businesses across the city and the wider region for 12 years.
In her new role, Ms Williamson will be responsible for identifying and developing business and lending opportunities with new and existing customers across the North and West Yorkshire region – from Leeds up to York and Harrogate, through Wakefield, Dewsbury, Halifax, Huddersfield and across the area just north of the Humber.
She said: “I will be working with an experienced and talented team which is already assisting a broad base of local firms. As the recovery gathers pace, there are some great opportunities out there for ambitious and forward-looking businesses.
“I’ll be making sure we continue to do all we can to help existing customers and prospective customers take advantage of the emerging opportunities.”
Ms Williamson is joined in the North and West Yorkshire team by two new relationship support managers, Richard Howarth and Michelle Oates.
Ms Oates joins from Lloyds TSB’s Manchester office, and Mr Howarth, already based in Leeds, joins from the bank’s business support team.
