Web start-up promises jobs

A NEW search engine optimisation firm is launching in Yorkshire with plans to create 40 jobs in the next two years.

Crowdbait is the idea of Lyndon Nicholson, founder of Article 10 Group who sold his stake in the company to fund the new venture.

The company is to be headquartered at the York Science Park.

Mr Nicholson said: ““I’m bringing a completely new approach to Search Engine Marketing to the market.

“It’s a way of doing business based strongly on honesty, transparency and straight-talking. No-one should be surprised that I felt my home county was the logical place to base Crowdbait.”

Crowdbait is looking to distinguish itself from other SEO agencies by creating content that attracts visitors via search engines rather than concentrating on code.
