DORMER Tools International has appointed a new marketing and communications coordinator as it responds to increased global demand.

Julie Heathcote will fill the role after spending 18 years in Dormer’s marketing department.

She said: “This role is in answer to an increased need for structured communication due to expansion in key markets, particularly in the Far East. Many end users

specify Dormer, so distributors around the world are very keen to work with us.

EMPLOYMENT and business law specialist Pharos Legal has recruited two new members of staff.

Solicitor Emma Hammond joins having previously worked at Walker Morris, in-house at a major supermarket and at DAC Beachcroft.

Adele Dickinson is the Leeds-based firm’s new practice manager and has a background working in legal firms.

Pharos Legal founder Natalie Saunders says: “The last year has been incredible and I am very proud of what we have achieved. Arguably it was certifiable to found a new

law firm in the depths of a recession, bearing in mind the advent of “Tesco Law” and considering increasing pressure on fees from ever-more sophisticated clients but

we’re going from strength to strength and with Emma and Adele now on board, we’re looking forward to growing the business even further.”
