Nisa strengthens team

CONVENIENCE store chain Nisa has appointed Michael Gisby as its new group financial controller.

Mr Gisby joins Nisa fron seafood firm Icelandic Group where he was financial controller at both group and divisional level.

He said: “Nisa is a unique organisation and is well respected within the retail market and I am extremely pleased to now be part of that team.”

Mr Gisby’s career has included experience in a range of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, food and distribution.

Finance director Simon Webster said: “We are very pleased to welcome Mike to the team. He joins the business at a key point following the separation of Nisa and the Today’s Group and his vast knowledge and experience will be invaluable to the team and the company.

“I look forward to working closely with Mike on the future finance strategy for the company.”
