Property appointments:

THE Leeds office of CBRE has recruited a new pubs and leisure team.

Six former Colliers International staff have joined CBRE to with senior director Andrew Watt, director Sam Frankland and senior surveyor Clair McGowan taking seats in the Leeds office.

Mr Watt said: “We have a formed a network of excellence in the specialist markets sector across the UK covering the pub, leisure, healthcare and alternative assets sectors which provides clients with the best possible advice in these dynamic areas of real estate.”

Mr Frankland added: “We believe we have the best team within this sector in the north of England, working closely with our colleagues nationally.

“The opportunity to work within CBRE, who is the market leader in corporate real estate, provided the platform we had been aspiring to.”

PROPERTY consultancy Jones Lang LaSalle has announced the promotion of 13 members of staff in its Leeds team.

Jones Lang Lasalle promotionsThe first round of promotions since the merger with King Sturge includes the Matthew Atkinson becoming national director while Paul Davinson, Colin Harrop and Kaye Walker become local directors.

Tom Asher, Tom Brammeld, Neil Jewell, James Laidler, Hannah Smith and Lily Wong have become associate directors and Richard Gale, Ross Haywood and Sally Sookia are promoted to senior surveyor.

Dave Travis Lambert Smith HamptonLAMBERT Smith Hampton has strengthened its property management team in Yorkshire with the appointment of Dave Travis as surveyor.
 
A qualified chartered surveyor, Mr Traves joins from AWS Surveyors in Leeds, and will be dealing with properties throughout West and North Yorkshire on behalf of  clients including Mapeley Estates and UK Coal.
 
Dave Travis said: “I’m delighted to be joining LSH and look forward to contributing to the strong market position held in Leeds.”
 
Carl Howarth, head of property management in Leeds, said: “We are delighted to welcome an individual of Dave’s calibre. This appointment follows a period of sustained business expansion, and is our third new recruit to the team in as many months.”
