TheBusinessDesk.com passes 50,000 Yorkshire user milestone

TheBusinessDesk.com is celebrating reaching 50,000 registered users reinforcing its position as the region’s leading online business media.
The Yorkshire site now attracts more than 100,000 visits every month on the site, as well as sending more than 150,000 emails to its registered user base every week.
“We have established our emails and website as part of the fabric of the business community in Yorkshire, and the 50,000 user milestone is remarkable. All of our users are business people and leading professionals who have specifically sought out our service and requested our emails,” said founder David Parkin.
“The numbers speak for themselves. In Yorkshire alone, more than 200,000 news emails are opened every month, in addition to the 200,000 pages of content that are read on the website. We see an average of 6,000 visits every morning, but that can peak to more than 12,000 when we are breaking big stories,” he added.
TheBusinessDesk.com has reached user milestones in its two other regions this summer, with 40,000 registered users in the North West that was launched in 2008, and 20,000 already in the West Midlands that launched in 2010.
“We owe thanks to our many commercial partners, from global brands to SMEs that we have been able to work with since our launch. Since 2007 we have worked with 200 organisations delivering huge value profile and lead generation campaigns, and as our user base grows so does the value we offer, and our reach within the Yorkshire business community.”
“Like many businesses we have seen some tough times in the past five years, and we are very proud to maintain our growth in revenues and registered users during one of the most challenging periods ever for business,” added Mr Parkin.
