£800,000 refurbishment sees the opening of a new Harrogate spa

HOTEL du Vin is to open the doors to Harrogate’s latest spa following a £800,000 transformation of former offices and living quarters.
The spa will consist of five treatment rooms, including a dual treatment room, two nail bars, a relaxation area, steam room and monsoon shower.
It will be open to local residents and visitors as well as hotel guests with no membership restrictions. Five new bedrooms have also been added as part of the investment.
Nick Lawson, Hotel du Vin’s general manager, said that the spa was a real boost to the hotel.
“The new development furthers our commitment to the area and Harrogate as a leisure destination,” he said.
“Now more than ever it is essential that we continue to build upon the success of the hotel and look at new added values, which will be well received by regular guests and also attract new clientele.”
The opening of the spa, which will be ready for pampering clients in early August, will see the creation of six new positions.
Hotel du Vin has 11 hotels across the UK including York. Harrogate is the third hotel in the group to boast a spa along with Cheltenham and Birmingham.
