Supermarket success for Shepherds Purse

CHEESE maker Shepherds Purse has secured two new listings with supermarket chain Sainsbury’s.

Between them, Harrogate Blue and Bluemin White will feature on the deli counter of more than 100 stores across the country

Director Caroline Bell said: “We are delighted to have secured further listings for our artisan cheeses in Sainsbury’s. 

“It’s been great working with the team at Sainsbury’s to bring Harrogate Blue and Bluemin White to deli counters across the UK and we think the Sainsbury customer is going to really love the new range now available.”

Yorkshire Blue, another product by Thirsk-based Shepherds Purse, is already carried by Sainsbury’s.

The company is rolling out new branding across its range over the next nine months.
