Grayton makes Immingham move

MECHANICAL engineering contractor Grayton Engineering is investing £250,000 in new premises.

The business is moving from its home of 17 years in Scunthorpe to a bigger base in Immingham.

Grayton is looking to create 20 new jobs at the 1.7 hectare site over the next 12 months.

Operations director Mike Bee said: “This is an important move for Grayton Engineering both physically and strategically.

“By moving to Immingham we are not only increasing our production capability, we are providing an enhanced working environment with much improved facilities. It is all part of our customer commitment”

Grayton’s clients include Phillips 66, Tata Steel, Tata Chemical and Cemex.
