Dodd makes green move

DODD Group has invested £500,000 in a new showroom as it grows its renewable energy installation business.

The company is relocating its business into a former agricultural machinery showroom in Bainton.

It will use the space to show customers working examples of the green energy technology it installs.

Dodd Group was originally a roofing company and while that remains a major part of the business, it moved into renewable installations two years ago.

Managing director Graham Dodd said: “Our entire operation and team will relocate to Bainton into premises that will provide us with the space and capability needed to take the business forward as a leading renewables provider.

“From there, we will offer a wide range of renewables products and services, including solar PV, biomass systems, air source heat pumps, voltage optimisation, wall and roof insulation and energy efficiency assessments.”

Dodd was set up in 1995 and has been operating from the Kelleythorpe Industrial Estate for the last 13 years.
