Golf contract swings Clipper’s way
LOGISTICS specialist Clipper has won a contract to deliver online orders for retailer american golf.
The deal sees Yorkshire firm Clipper delivering orders from the americangolf.co.uk and onlinegolf.co.uk websites in both the UK and Europe.
David Frost, Clipper’s head of business implementation, said: “We’ll bring our extensive expertise in online fulfilment to this contract.
“We’re very much looking forward to working with american golf to support their ambitious growth plans. As with all our customers, our aim is to achieve operation excellence for this contract.”
The american golf chain has 95 stores across the country and a significant online operation strengthened by its acquisition of onlinegolf.co.uk in 2010.
