PR , Marketing and HR appointments; Airport makes marketing appointment, graduate joins York firm and more

A round-up of the region’s appointments.
DONCASTER Sheffield Airport has appointed Jodi Stow as its new marketing and communications manager.
Mr Stow is responsible for the development and delivery of a successful marketing strategy for the airport and will work closely with the board of directors.
He brings four years aviation experience with him to Doncaster Sheffield Airport having held positions at Humberside and East Midlands Airports.
He leaves his post with The Manchester Airport Group, where he worked as a senior business development executive responsible for Manchester, East Midlands, Humberside and Bournemouth Airports, to take his new position in South Yorkshire.

SHEFFIELD Chamber of Commerce has promoted Brenda Jordan to director of organisational development.
Mr Jordon joined the Chamber in September 2005 bringing with her vast experience in the field of human resources (HR) having spent 19 years as HR manager with steel manufacturing company Vesuvius.
She has spent three successful years at Sheffield Chamber; her previous role was head of human resources before her promotion.
Her new role, aside from existing human resources duties, will include co-ordinating all the organisation’s accreditations, assessments and health and safety policies and encompass overall organisational development.

LOUISE McKenzie has stepped on the first rung of her career ladder by joining York PR and design agency, The Partners Group.
Ms McKenzie recently completed an MSc in Marketing at Napier University having previously graduated from Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh with a BA (Hons) in Public Relations and Media.
As a public relations account executive, Louise is promoting a number of national and regional businesses, including companies in the healthcare, property and manufacturing sectors.
The Partners Group was established in York in June 1988. Now, twenty years on, it is York’s largest marketing communications agency, with a 18-strong team providing PR, marketing and design support to a client base of local, regional, national and international organisations across a range of markets.
