Administration for Bezier’s printing division

JOB losses are expected after Bezier’s print division, based in Wakefield, was put into administration.

Deloitte has been appointed adminstrator with around 395 staff facing an uncertain future.

Bezier, the London-based based point-of-sale marketing services business, has decided to focus on its global brands division.

Its printing operations has bases in Wakefield and Leicester, which are both to close.

A spokesman said: “The downturn has accelerated a move by clients to cut their printing budgets and, instead, move more into digital and social media, and despite the board working very hard to stabilise the company, the closure of the Wakefield site has been sadly unavoidable.

“The board will now focus on developing its brands division which is headquartered in Soho, London.”
