KNIGHT Frank has boosted its property management team in Yorkshire by welcoming Sarah Hodgson on board.
She joins as partner in the Leeds property management team, and was previously an associate director with DTZ in Leeds.

THE rural division at Carter Jonas has expanded with the hire of David Davenport to the York office as a rural surveyor.
David will provide valuations, compensation claims and tenancy advice to clients. He will also carry out rural agency work.
He joins Carter Jonas from East Riding of Yorkshire Council where he carried out estate management, the sale of all types of rural property and provided rural planning advice to the authority’s development control team as a valuation and estates surveyor.

DR Kerry Dickinson has joined Tropo as renewables solutions manager as part of its growth in the renewables arena.
With extensive knowledge in heat pump technology and its applications, as well as the wider renewables market, Kerry is keen to further develop Tropo’s solar PV, biomass and wind capabilities.
Tropo is the renewables division of Sheffield-based Henry Boot Construction and specialises in the specification and installation of renewable energy systems including solar panels, ground source heat pumps, biomass boilers and wind turbines.

SOUTH Yorkshire estate agent Blundells has appointed one of its long-standing members of staff as regional director in Sheffield.
David Vaughan, who has worked for the company for more than 12 years, will be based at the firm’s flagship branch at Banner Cross but will also oversee two other branches at Crookes, and Hillsborough and undertake market appraisals.
Ian Appleyard, director at Blundells, said: “David has worked with us for more than a decade now. His expertise and dedication to the company is second to none and so, we are delighted to have appointed him as regional director.”

THE Leeds office of Colliers International has hired Helen Cahill as a graduate surveyor within its retail agency team.
She joins an existing team of six advising on a variety of developments and existing retail schemes as well as serving requirements across the North for clients including Sainsbury’s, Vodafone and Jaeger.
Greg Styles who heads up the retail team in Leeds said, “We are delighted to welcome Helen to the team where her resource is greatly valued. We remain extremely busy assisting Sainsbury’s with its continued expansion programme for main and convenience stores in a number of regions. Helen will provide particular support to the team in securing new sites for Sainsbury’s Local.”
Helen graduated with a Masters in real estate in 2012. She had already completed a placement with Colliers International before securing her full time role.
