Chairman Andrew Thirkill said: “As founder of Infoserve, Derek has been deeply involved with the company’s growth and progress to the position we are in today with turnover around £5m, profitable and with almost 150 employees throughout the group’s multiple facilities.”
He added: “Derek is exactly the right choice to lead Infoserve through its next phase of development with further digital solutions and revenue streams planned.
“The current climate has been thoroughly challenging and despite this the company has continued to experience success on many fronts.”

Mr Oliver added: “I am delighted to be appointed chief executive of Infoserve, the company I founded. Infoserve has developed and grown significantly over recent years and is now one of the leading providers of online marketing solutions for SMEs in the UK.
