Xercise4less chief says Yorkshire Business Masters provide health boost

JON Wright, managing director of Xercise4less, has hailed the impact of the budget gym chain’s success at TheBusinessDesk.com’s Yorkshire Business Masters.

The business was named Yorkshire Newcomer at the Yorkshire Business Masters 2012.

Reflecting on last year’s win, and urging others to enter in 2013, Mr Wright said: “As a Yorkshire company experiencing strong growth in a difficult climate and competitive industry, we’re really proud of our achievements over the last few years.

“However, a lot of the time when you’re so busy running the business it’s hard to take time out and celebrate your achievements.

“We’re really pleased we entered the Business Masters Awards because it gave us a chance to take stock and reflect on how far we’ve come.

“When we won our award this was a very proud moment as it meant others also recognised our achievements and this means a lot – and it’s certainly added to the overall brand awareness of the business. It also gave us a chance to celebrate with staff and there was a great sense of pride across the whole group.”

Mr Wright described the Yorkshire Business Masters, which are taking place at lunchtime on Thursday, June 27 at Aspire in Leeds, as “a very well organised event; there’s a real buzz from the whole room being full of passionate, hard working people.”

“TheBusinessDesk.com is a very well respected title that I always read with interest and I’m very honoured to have been recognised in its awards,” he added.

“I would heartily encourage other businesses who are making a difference in their industry to enter the Business Masters – as it’s a great way to prove you really are leading the way.”
