Change of CEO for Fulcrum Utility Services

FULCRUM Utility Services today announced the appointment of a new chief executive.

The Sheffield-headquartered quoted energy services business said that Martin Donnachie would become its interim chief executive to replace John Spellman, who is stepping down with immediate effect.

Mr Donnachie will serve as interim CEO for a minimum of six months whilst Fulcrum seeks the appointment of a full time chief executive to lead the business in the long term.

Fulcrum, which provides gas connection services to residential, commercial and industrial markets ranging from single properties to large developments, said that Mr Donnachie “will be supported by the existing established management team, ensuring a smooth transition for the business”.

He has previously undertaken a range of interim leadership roles and, prior to that had 12 years of experience in the house building and construction services sectors, most recently with George Wimpey and Rok.

Phil Holder, Fulcrum’s chairman, said: “I would like to thank John for his work with the company over the last three years.  The board is committed to helping the company deliver its strategy and I look forward to working with Martin and the senior management team to continue to build Fulcrum into a leading utility services business underpinned by first class engineering expertise and exceptional customer service.”
