Yorkshire Business Masters 2013 winners to be revealed

THE winners of TheBusinessDesk.com’s Yorkshire Business Masters awards 2013 will be announced this afternoon.

The awards, which recognise outstanding achievement, innovation, commercial success and community impact, take place at Aspire in Leeds at lunchtime.

It will be attended by more than 160 leading business people from across the region including entrepreneurs, company directors and senior advisors.

There are three finalists in all six categories – Newcomer, Innovator, Pride, Grit, Exporter and Ambassador.

The Masters awards attracted dozens of entries from charities to start-ups to international quoted companies based in the region.

TheBusinessDesk.com will be Tweeting the results as they are announced under the #tag YBM2013 and an email will be sent at 3pm with a round-up of the Yorkshire Masters 2013winners, followed by in depth reports, interviews and video in the coming days. The categories are: Yorkshire Newcomer, sponsored by The P&A Partnership; Yorkshire Exporter, sponsored by BDO; Yorkshire Pride sponsored by Journey9; Yorkshire Grit, sponsored by Sentio Corporate Finance; Yorkshire Innovator, sponsored by Walker Morris and North West Ambassador, sponsored by Leeds Metropolitan University.

The finalists for the awards are:

Exporter : thebigword, Diamond Dispersions, Premier Farnell.

Pride : Gordons apprenticeship scheme, Dine Events, Grant Thornton Educate to Innovate.

Innovator: Biorenewables Development Centre, The Test People, element14.
