Lingerie outfit fits perfectly at business park

LINGERIE manufacturer Panache is to relocate its headquarters to Drake Business Park in Sheffield.

Acting on behalf of clients of Aprirose Real Estate Investment, Atisreal has let a two storey property of around 30,000 sq ft of office space at the park.

Panache has taken the building on a five year lease at a rent of £275,000 per year.

The manufacturer has moved from its existing premises at Canada House in Sheffield city centre, where it occupied 10,000 sq ft, following increased demand and expansion.

Initially Atisreal was appointed to undertake a rent review on behalf of the landlord, which evolved into lease surrender negotiations.

However during the course of these negotiations Atisreal’s sales and lettings team recognised how closely the property matched Panache’s requirements and agreed terms for a new lease in an off-market transaction.

The construction department at Atisreal has also been appointed to provide building surveying advice.

Nick Baker, associate director of Sheffield agency and development at Atisreal, said: “We were able to secure a new tenant for the building without the need to place it on the market, which demonstrates that there are still active requirements in the city and that the right types of premises will be quickly snapped up.

“Panache has secured one of the few self contained buildings outside of the city centre capable of offering high quality head office accommodation. In addition to ample car parking the property provides an element of light manufacturing space that can form an assembly area for the design team.”
