Property development division launched at Mulgrave

YORKSHIRE’S 350-year-old Mulgrave Estate has expanded its business and launched a property development arm.

The new division – Mulgrave Properties – plans to develop sites around Yorkshire and will specialise in what it described as “niche and design led” developments to “fit in with the local surroundings”.

Based near Easingwold, it has already begun work on its first development in Nunthorpe. The development will deliver nine three and four bedroom family detached homes, regenerating the site once occupied by the former Nessfield nursing home.

Mulgrave Properties is headed by Andy Campbell.

He said: “This is a very exciting time for us and following our successes on the Estate and in the Whitby area we thought now was the right time to expand our area of operation.

“We are looking to bring the principles that have guided our Estate based developments to a wider area. Specifically we are looking for sites for developments of between 8 and 20 homes, which we can deliver quality design-led schemes.”
