Whitby guest house sold

THE Haven Crest guest house in the popular seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire, has been sold.

The property, situated close to Whitby Golf Club, was on the market due to retirement plans. It was sold through specialist hotels agents, Colliers International.

Colliers International hotels director, Peter Bean, said: “At this level of the hotel market, buyers usually have something to sell before they can proceed and after a quiet period of marketing we found buyer interest really picked up as more transactions began to take place in the residential market nationally”.

Colliers International were asking £375,000 for the property.
