A round-up of the weeks commercial property appointments.

PROPERTY adviser CB Richard Ellis has made two senior promotions in its Leeds office.

Robin Bullas has become associate director in the company’s capital markets division while Juliet Petty has become associate director in its asset management team.

Mr Bullas brings five years of experience to his role as associate director, having been with CBRE in London before moving to Leeds two years ago, where he has advised a range of clients on commercial investment acquisitions and disposals.

He has particular expertise in the Yorkshire and North East markets and has advised on buildings and developments such as Park Lane in Leeds, The Watermark in Gateshead, West Bar in Sheffield and the Incubator in York.

Mr Bullas said: “I’m delighted to have been promoted from the post of senior surveyor to associate director. I am looking forward to taking on more responsibility within the firm at what is an important time in the development of CBRE on both the regional and national stage.”

Ms Petty has seven years at CBRE and will continue to work on the CBRE Investor Asset Management contract in the Leeds office and will also be taking on additional national mandates.

She joined the firm in 2001 after three years in the estates department at Leeds City Council and is currently responsible for managing properties throughout Yorkshire and the North East for numerous property trusts and pension funds including BBC Pension Trust, Newsquest Strategic Partners UK, Unilever Pension Fund Trustees and Siemens Benefit Scheme.

Ms Petty said: “As part of this role, I will continue to oversee the CBRE investors mandate and look forward to putting this valuable experience to wider use on a national scale.

“I’m delighted with my promotion at CBRE and look forward to taking on additional responsibility, working even closer with the outstanding team of experts we have in place here in Leeds.”
