Hyde seeks out Keepmoat Property Services for £51m contract

KEEPMOAT Property Services has continued its expansion into the south by winning a £51m maintenance contract with The Hyde Group, one of the largest housing associations in England.

Hyde, which manages more than 49,000 homes across England, has awarded Leeds-based Keepmoat Property Services the contract to look after responsive maintenance and out of hours emergency repairs for 12,500 homes in the South East.

The win comes two months after Keepmoat Property Services relocated from its former base on the Cross Green Industrial Estate to No 1 Bowling Green in Holbeck.

The 10-year contract, which began this month was won following a competitive tender and will also see Keepmoat deliver void property works in the region.

Mike Edwards, managing director at Keepmoat Property Services, said: “Winning a £51m contract to maintain Hyde’s homes in the South East is a huge endorsement of the high-quality work and reliable service we deliver for clients, time and time again.

“Since the merger Keepmoat has built on Apollo’s great relationships across the south enabling us to become a truly national player in the responsive maintenance market.

“Through this new contract, we have created employment opportunities and so far recruited 28 people from local communities.”
