BLACKS Solicitors has expanded its commercial dispute resolution and media, music and entertainment departments, welcoming Phil Gorski to the firm.

The appointment comes as part of Blacks’ response to the rise of digital technology and the increase in media titles transitioning online, particularly regional press. Gorski’s specialist skillset is set to bolster both Blacks’ commercial dispute resolution and MME departments, providing greater media law knowledge and insight and bridging the gap between contentious and non-contentious issues handled within the two departments.

Managing partner, Chris Allen, said, “We’re really pleased to welcome Phil on board. His hands on experience is going to be beneficial to our busy Commercial Dispute Resolution and MME departments and we look forward to working with him.”

Mark de-Villamar Roberts, managing director at Envirodoor, said: “We are delighted to have someone of David’s calibre and experience join us. We see off-site building solutions growing over the coming years, particularly in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors where there will be a requirement for specialist doors, such as our GRP hygienic doors and hermetically sealing sliding doors.
