In brief: Morrisons wins green award, McCain account, and more
LEEDS firm Principles Agency has announced it has won the McCain Food Service Classics account.
The initial campaign will illustrate McCain Classic’s 100% commitment to British sourcing, highlighting the fact that every single potato is traceable.
All potatoes used by McCain are grown from McCain’s own seeds, managed through long standing relationships with 300 British farmers.
The advertising campaign will launch the new ‘From seed to farm to plate’ message, alongside the well recognised ‘It’s all good’ strap line.

A HEAT recovery system has won Bradford-based chain Morrisons a national environmental award.
The Heat Harvester system has been pioneered at Morrisons store in Stockton, Teesside, combining the use of carbon dioxide as a refrigerant with a system which recovers heat from the site’s refrigeration units and uses it to supply hot water to the rest of the store, cutting energy consumption.
This means it is one of the most carbon efficient cooling systems in a British supermarket.
Morrisons – which earlier this year became the only food retailer to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard for its carbon-cutting measures – was singled out for praise, picking up the Green End-User of the Year title at the Cooling Industry Awards.
