In-Site continues expansion as it passes milestones

IN-SITE Property Solutions, the Yorkshire-based industrial property owner and asset manager, has been given the green light to develop 60 homes and business units, as well as securing a successful city centre letting.

The company, based in Bramham, West Yorkshire, is partnering with housebuilder Persimmon Homes on the development project in East Lothian, Scotland.

Alex Boyle, managing director of In-site Property Solutions, said: “As well as providing valuable residential accommodation, this positive decision safeguards three acres of the site for employment use, helping to create jobs for the area. Additionally, East Lothian Council has welcomed our suggestion of developing a further 15 units under a second phase of the project.”

The family-owned industrial property owner and asset manager, which says it has “money to spend” as it continues its strategy to look to acquire sites with asset management potential, has also let 1,100 sq ft of space at its 41 St Paul’s Street office development in Leeds’s financial district to Crowther Turnbull Booth.
The specialist building surveying and project management services company has relocated to larger premises as it embarks on its next phase of expansion.

The letting at the 4,000 sq ft building, secured by In-site and Colliers, means there are just two units of 500 sq ft remaining with a number of incentives for occupiers available.

Other occupiers at 41 St Paul’s Street include GMI Holdings, Weetwood Engineering, Artist Needs Rider and Catalyst Search.

Mr Boyle added: “These two milestones demonstrate In-site’s breadth of expertise and extensive portfolio across a number of asset classes.

“Crowther Turnbull Booth is a well-established and growing business and the company’s move reflects the prominence of St Paul’s Street at the financial heart of Leeds city centre.”

Partner Glen Turnbull said: “Our move to 41 St Paul’s Street is a strategic one as part of our ongoing growth strategy. We know Alex and the team at In-site well and are delighted with the move to this prestigious address.”

Established 35 years ago, In-Site demerged to form In-site Property Solutions in 2007 and now owns multi-let industrial and other commercial property sites and manages them in-house.

The company employs 13 staff and has a rent roll in excess of £2m.
