DLA Piper promotes 21 Yorkshire lawyers

DLA Piper has announced the promotion of 21 of its Yorkshire-based lawyers.  

The Leeds office saw the promotion of two lawyers to the partnership – finance specialist Anna Robson and corporate crime and investigations specialist Stuart Ponting.
 
There have been nine promotions across the two office to legal director. In Leeds, the newly promoted legal directors include intellectual property and technology lawyer Matt Duncombe, corporate specialist Victoria Egan, real estate lawyers Stacey Brook, Michael Gaughan and James Sargent, and restructuring lawyers James Morris and Emma Widdowson. In Sheffield, promotions include litigation and regulatory specialist Paul McNamee and intellectual property and technology lawyer Amanda Pilkington.
 
In addition, ten lawyers have been promoted to senior associate.  In Leeds, project lawyers Amy Bowers and Jennifer Deakin, intellectual property and technology lawyers Jennifer Cook and Ed Corry, litigation and regulatory lawyer Sohail Ali and restructuring lawyer Andrea Unwin have all been promoted.  In Sheffield, promotions include litigation and regulatory lawyers Timothy John Evans, Harriet Farrant and Michael Lawlor and real estate lawyer Rob Shaw.

Overall, there were 45 lawyers worldwide promoted to DLA Piper’s partnership.
