FC Halifax Town has announced Sovereign Health Care’s continued support as one of its official shirt sponsors for the 2010-2011 football season.
The Bradford-based healthcare cash plan provider has sponsored the club for the last three seasons and the new deal allows the company to continue to support the club by featuring on the back of both the home and away shirts.
Russ Piper, chief executive of Sovereign Health Care, said: “We are delighted to sponsor FC Halifax Town again this season. Together with our sponsorship of Bradford Bulls and The Priestley Cup, it supports our commitment to make sport more accessible for the local community. ”

ACCOUNTANTS and business advisors Grant Thornton held a workshop for 40 new National Enterprise Academy (NEA) students to help kick start their training as part of the MADE: The Entrepreneur’s Festival.
The NEA is the UK’s first non-profit educational institution, founded by Dragon’s Den star Peter Jones, and is dedicated to teaching entrepreneurship to young people.
Its latest branch is based out of Sheffield College and the first intake of students were set a business challenge and guided through the process by advisors from Grant Thornton .
Grant Thornton, which sponsored MADE: The Entrepreneurs Festival as well as the National Enterprise Academy, said that Sheffield’s young adults will be crucial to the growth of the private sector in the coming years.

SUE Ryder Care centre Holme Hall is more than £4,500 better off, thanks to the fundraising efforts of a team of lawyers from Hull-based Williamsons Solicitors.
The centre at Holme on Spalding Moor in East Yorkshire provides compassionate long-term residential and respite care for up to 36 adults with challenging conditions including multiple sclerosis, strokes, brain injuries, Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
A team of 26 solicitors, staff, friends and family from the firm took part in a 12-or 30-mile walk to raise a total of £4,521.51.
