Property People: Knight Frank; Projex, LSH
THE Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank has strengthened its industrial property team with the appointment of Nick Prescott.
Prescott joins as associate from property consultancy Gent Visick in Leeds, where he spent seven years concentrating on occupational acquisitions and disposals. He is a specialist in the industrial and logistics sectors.
He said: “The chance to join Knight Frank’s reputable and award-winning team in Leeds was too good to miss. These are exciting times for the property market in Yorkshire, as we emerge from recession. PROJEX Building Solutions has appointed Rob Brear to head a new quantity surveying team based at its Leeds office.
He joins as associate director and brings more than 25 years’ experience, including advising on a number of well-known local developments such as Bridgewater Place and No 1 Whitehall Riverside.
His appointment comes as Projex celebrates its fifth anniversary and he will assist on both new and existing contracts. Locally these involve new instructions from Land Securities at various sites across Yorkshire and the UK on the back of pre-letting works at Trinity Leeds.

COMMERCIAL property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has welcomed five graduates to its Yorkshire team, with the new recruits starting work at its Leeds office.
Maria Burrell and Joe Beckett both join in permanent graduate positions on the Transport team and Building Consultancy team. LSH also welcomes Kate Boanas, Georgia Pirbhai and Michelle Brennan for placement positions in Lease Advisory/Property Management, Office Agency and Valuation respectively.
