Commercial Property Appointments: GVA Grimley looks to future with new appointments and more

A round-up of the region’s commercial property appointments.

PROPERTY consultancy GVA Grimley in Leeds has bolstered its team with a number of new graduate appointments.

James Yates, Richard Dunning, Tim Copley, Rich Rothwell, James Cox and Nicola Jones will now undertake training to gain experience and a greater understanding of every aspect of the property market in the region and beyond.

Mr Yates takes up a role in the banking and corporate consultancy team after achieving a BA in German and Business Studies at the University of Hull and a postgraduate M.Sc. in Commercial Property Management at Liverpool John Moores University.

Mr Dunning, who recently completed a postgraduate M.A. in Commercial Property at the University of Sheffield, joins the national industrial team.

Currently on a 12 month placement, Tim Copley is studying building surveying at Salford University and joins the building project management and consultancy team.

Former local authority planner at Hull City Council, Rich Rothwell joins the planning development and regeneration (PDR) team as a graduate planner.

Mr Rothwell studied Human Geography at Northumbria University before completing a postgraduate M.Sc in Urban and Regional Planning at Sheffield Hallam University.

Nicola Jones, who joined the firm in 2006 as a senior secretary, and James Cox have also been appointed to the PDR Team and are both currently working towards a M.A. in Town & Regional Planning at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Whilst working as graduate planners, Ms Jones will study part-time over two years and Mr Cox will study full-time for one year.
