Servelec secures four new contracts

SERVELEC Group today said its Servelec Controls division has won more than £3m of new work.

The Sheffield-based business has secured four major project wins including work to relocate an entire power plant from the UK to the Middle East.

Servelec will design, construct and install control and emergency systems for the plant once it has been rebuilt.

It is installing a dry fuel store monitoring system in a UK nuclear power station that will help increase the lifetime of the plant by 20 years.

It has also won a contract to replace sootblower controls at one of the UK’s largest coal-fired power stations while its oil and gas division has secured work to design and install modifications to process controls system and the emergency shut-down system of a power station.

The South Yorkshire-based company, which made its debut on the main market of the London Stock Exchange late last year, is a technology group, providing software, hardware and services predominantly to the UK healthcare, oil and gas, nuclear, power, utilities and broadcast sectors.
